Within every punk, there’s a kid who just wants to be loved. Armed with loss, heartbreak and a voice that cries for help, multitalented French enchantress Soko is the kind of rebel who gives out kisses instead of black eyes, who steals hearts instead of wallets, and gets trashed on tea instead of liquor. However, she won’t hesitate to wreak havoc and cartwheel on stage whenever she can, alternating between playing reverbed-out electric guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums and singing her heart out with total abandon. She's also an acterrs, she was presenting two featured movies at the 2016 Canne's Film Festival with "La Danseuse" directed by Stéphanie Di Giusto as the main character featuring Gaspard Ulliel, Mélanie Thierry and Lilly Rose Depp and "Voir du Pays" directed by Delphine and Muriel Coulin. Both movies will be released in September. Soko is also about to release her last album.
