Jean-Benoît Dunckel is also known as half of the french duo AIR, (in world tour during 2016 Summer) and he’s working for dark pop solo project as Darkel. His first solo album came out in 2006, at the same time as Charlotte Gainsbourg’s “5:55” album that he produced alongside with Nicolas Godin, his acolyte from AIR. As well as participating to mythical soundtracks with AIR(Virgin Suicides, Lost In Translation, Marie Antoinette, Quartier Lointain, Pioneer...), Jean-Benoît composed the score of “Bee”, “Je M’Appelle Hmm”, and also the quirky film “Cyprien” but always in a very organic and solar electronic spirit. Last mounth, Jean-Benoît finished the soundtrack of the film “Sangailé” by Alanté Kavaïté and is nos producing himself in live with Jacques Perconte.
